Decisions on changes e.g. changes from a reference model or pattern, shall be logged. Thus not only the actual changes can be traced but also the reasons behind a decision.

To develop this issue, please have a look at the already existing Track Changes. These Track Changes can  be extended by an additional record table where the reasons (why the change) can be saved.
